Helping Veterans, Communities, & Those Serving In Harm's Way
VVA is committed to ensuring that all veterans exposed during their service receive the care and compensation they have earned by their service to our nation.
This includes those who served in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Korea, and Laos, as well as those who flew on C-123s, aboard Navy vessels, and on certain military installations and other facilities on and outside the continental U.S., including Guam, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Johnson Island, Ft. Detrick, and elsewhere.
Vietnam veterans with Agent Orange diseases continue to march into the Vietnam Wall to join their fallen brothers.
These men and women will not be remembered as fatalities of the Vietnam War.
Their names will not be engraved onto the wall…yet they are still victims of the Vietnam War!
Veterans Exposed to Agent Orange through Duty on Contaminated C-123 Aircraft
In response to the Institute of Medicine’s report on Post-Vietnam Dioxin Exposure in Agent Orange-Contaminated C-123 Aircraft from the National Academy of Sciences, we have determined there is evidence of exposure to Agent Orange for Airmen who worked on C-123s that were used in Vietnam as part of Operation Ranch Hand.
VA Updates LIst of Agent Orange Ships
The Department of Veterans Affairs has updated the list of ships that operated in Vietnam, adding more and expanding information for others.
